Tonight I went out with Izumi the former student of a friend of mine from the Bay Area who was in Tokyo for a year.
She is a really sweet girl (and cute to boot!) so I was glad when she wanted to go out and party again without our mutual friend who has since gone back to the States.
We met up at Hachiko and despite the fact that I had not eaten all day decided to go out for some drinks. The place we ended up at was actually really with a 1960s-like decor and probably the best US-based food I have had in Tokyo hands down. Izumi got tacos while I got spare ribs and fries. The shit was TASTY son!
We spent a few hours there and it was a very enjoyable time overall. I hope to see her again some time soon〜
Hey news here sucks....CNN supposedly showed pictures of quake in osaka..but there were pics of the typhoon in okinawa instead of quakes! Way to go! So I hear SNKP is doing rather nicely with KOF2k7 yoo! Check out Akira's new super move!!!!

Just got back to Tokyo after spending the weekend in Kanazawa. On the way back we ran into some insane weather so right now I'm just thankful to be alive.
We did tons of shit here are some highlights:
27th (night)
I met up with Kurita and Bear Crusher at Shibuya High Tech where we played some VF until the last train. After getting back to their place I watched the final episode of 24 and we waited for SHU to get to the house with his car.
28th
SHU got there at about 3am and from there we headed out. We didn't get to Kurita's parents' house until about 10am by which point we were all exhausted and got some much-needed sleep after the obligatory shooting of the shit with Kurita's parents.
At 4pm or so we woke up and went to a nearby fish market where we bought some crab and ate dinner/lunch. From there we made our way to Tonami to participate in a 3-on-3 VF tournament. Before the tournament Kurita SHU and I each did a Kumite (which I believe makes me the first honkey to ever do such an event) which was tons of fun. As for the actual tournament there was someone who wanted to be on my team "no matter what" but it did not matter who my teammates were tonight as we all played poorly and bowed out in the first round. Kurita SHU and BC made it to the semis but they lost as well and we all lost interest. I don't even know who won...
After taking in some dinner at a nearby diner and headed out to Kurita's parents' summer house in Nakashima.
Back at the house I drank beers with his parents till about 6am then finally got some sleep.
29th
We woke up at about noon and had some fresh crab for lunch. Shit was tasty son!
We wanted to go to the beach but all of the sudden it started pouring so we instead went to a Glass Art Museum which was better than I had anticipated. There were some Picasso originals (that I did not even know he made) as well as the all-too-common fucked up English all over the place. It was pretty neat.
From there we went to some placed called "Champion Curry." It was pretty excellent and had some strange quirks. For instance the Meat Curry was cheaper than the normal curry. WTF does the guy own a farm with cows or something?
After that Kurita met up with a friend from his hometown so SHU BC and I played some VF nearby. I played like shit and in the middle of my ranking down match to save my ass the guard button broke (!!!) and I of course lost. Motherfucker.
From there we got ramen and headed back to the house.
30th
In the morning we headed to the Ninja Temple in Kanazawa. Ironically the place has *nothing* to do with ninjas. The building was full of traps and thus gave way to its name. The tour guide was a real hottie and I wanted to get her number but I exercised remarkable restraint.
We needed some food but unfortunately we went to an Italian place (the Japanese have NO IDEA how to cook Italian) and I got sick (which happens nearly every time I eat Italian here). Son of a bitch.
Kurita went to visit his grandmother in the hospital so SHU BC and I went to Kenrokuen Park and Kanazawa Castle. After a few hours passed I began to feel better and I was able to enjoy the nature that you just do not see in Tokyo.
We picked up Kurita and made our way back to Tokyo stopping in Nagano at an arcade to visit Yasoko a gay friend of BC. It was fun to play some people who I had never seen before including a good Lei Fei (which you just DON'T see anymore in Tokyo).
We left at about 11pm and finally got home at 2am. All in all it was a great time and I am in debt to SHU for his driving Kurita for his parents' houses and BC for her invitation.
I know I know it's been a long time since I have posted anything on this site. Since I did not have a place of my own to stay since I got back I have not had lots of time to do much online so this time you are getting a big ass update.
First things first my birthday was August 17. It was a Tuesday and the weather was shit so I ended up not doing much. Around 8pm I went to Ikebukuro Gigo and played some games with Itazan until Mester and Raoh showed up. We went to the Watami (an izakaya--drinking place) next door and had some drinks and talked to some brainless ko-gyaru at a table near ours.
After that we couldn't decide if we wanted to play games or drink some more so we went back to Gigo...and before we realized it (shit!) we played too long and all the trains were gone. Realizing that we had nothing we could really do outside take a too-expensive taxi we just stayed in the area played some VF and that was that.

Last Sunday I was in a tournament with Itazan and our friend 36 (PA). We did very well in the opening round (not losing a single match) but in the semi-finals our whole team was viciously raped in our virgin assholes by Yoro Kage (KA) and we bowed out in defeat. It was fun playing in a team tournament for the first time in a while and I hope that next time we can go even further. Imagine a honkey being on a winning team in a VF tournament? (Not that it would be due to my play that we won but hey).
